Kate Spade New York Resort 2020 ~ My review and personal opinions!

Today, if you can't already tell by the title of this post, I will be reviewing and and giving my personal opinions on some of the looks from Kate Spade's New York Resort 2020 collection!

For starters I love Kate Spade!! I think I'd have to say my favorite thing about her designs is the simple things she puts together and makes them look á la mode!! Her handbags are something I absolutely adore!! In fact, her handbags and color choice are two of my favorite things about this new collection! Before I get to showing you some of the looks, I need to put a little disclaimer out there:

*DISCLAIMER*
I did not design or take part in designing any of the clothes and accessories seen in this post. I also did not take any of the photos. These photos can be found at https://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/resort-2020/kate-spade-new-york/slideshow/collection#1  click the link for more information on this collection and it's talented crew of designers!
Once again I do not take any credit for anything seen in the photos including the photos themselves!

The first look I'd like to talk about is this silk emerald dress paired with a bag and matching accessories. The design of the dress is very simple, but still elegant looking. I've seen a lot of dresses like this one on the runway this week (Who doesn't love new trends??). As lovely as the look of this dress is, I'm guessing the trend won't last long because fashion changes everyday! Although now that I think about it, this dress style has been around for what seems like forever, but it's popularity scale keeps changing. The dress has a high neck, cuff sleeves, and falls beautifully from the waist down to the model's ankles.
The blue purse has glitter, a gold chain handle, and Kate Spade's signature Spade symbol topped with a heart. The dress, the bag, and the jewelry all go perfectly well together, and I don't think I'd change a thing about it!

Is it just me or is anyone else loving the grey faux fur paired with that pretty lavender purple? This look has a long purple dress with a pretty collar (I'm unsure of the name of the collar), a long faux fur coat that has a matching bag, glittery grey boots, and matching headband. This look is my second favorite because of Kate Spade's use of glitter and faux fur! Some may say they're pretty hard to pair, but Kate Spade does it like it is nothing! The Kate Spade team made them look very élégant together. Color and fabric choice is very, very important in the fashion industry. Kate Spade knows how to make anything work, this whole collection is just full of fabric and colors that go parfait together!

This look has a colorfully patterned dress, a glittery baby pink bag, and glittery pink boots. The dress is my favorite part of this look because of its pattern. The pattern is colorful, but it manages to stay within the collections' color scheme very well. The baby pink was a good choice of color, it makes the bag pop! This look has to be another one of my favorites!

This look has a long coat, faux fur bag with a gold chain handle, navy pants that flair a little at the bottom, a grey turtleneck top, and a sparkly grey headband. The long coat and flared navy pants are what make this look unique to the collection, and I'm showing this for that reason. It looks like something that could be worn as a street-style fit, or as an outfit to wear on holiday. In my opinion, this look was an amazing add-on to the collection!

The last look I decided to review from this collection includes a light lavender dress with a V neck and cuff sleeves, a grey alligator bag with a silver chain handle, glittery grey boots, and a glittery grey headband. I chose this dress because of its pattern and style. I love the way the pattern and the tie in the middle go together. It just fits! That's another one of the things I love about Kate Spade's collections, they just make things that you don't usually see together work perfectly, and they don't hesitate to take a leap of faith when designing.

That is all for my Kate Spade New York Resort 2020 collection review! I'm sorry I only did 5/20 looks, but if you want to see the rest of them go to the click I put in the disclaimer. If I made an incorrect statement please forgive me because this is my first time making a fashion collection review, I will get better at it! Other than that I hope you enjoyed reading this, again I don't take credit for anything except for the fact that I wrote this post myself.
Until next time.
