My 4 favorite vintage style icons!

Yesterday I posted my top 5 favorite modern style icons, and today I will be sharing my 4 favorite girly vintage style icons!

                                                                1) Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn just needs an entire post to herself (I might actually write one about her)! For now though, let's talk about her style. Audrey Hepburn was a British actress who died on January 20th of 1993, and I've seen a good amount of her movies (and have fallen in love with them all). On set and off set she was seen in the most admirable clothing! I'd have to say that the dresses she wore are my favorite!

                                                                        2)Grace Kelly

Like Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly was a British actress who played in some of the older movies I enjoy. Later in life she quit her acting career and became the princess of Monaco (yes, a real-life princess). Sadly 26 years later she passed away in 1982. When I first watched the 50's movie 'To Catch A Thief' I quickly noticed how stylish Grace Kelly dressed the first time she made an appearance. I immediately fell in love with that blue dress she wore in the first scene she was in!! I wasn't even paying attention to what was going on, I was so drawn to that dress!
-Blue dress I just mentioned-
(although in the movie I don't think it was that blue)

3) Princess Diana

Diana Spencer was the princess of Wales and died on August 31st in 1997. Her style wasn't as girly as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and Elizabeth Taylor, but I'm still a fan of the way she dressed. In fact in my opinion some of her looks kind of remind me of a tomboy, but she made it look lady-like enough. I love that about her style, the way she could make a sweatshirt and khaki Bermuda shorts look so feminine! Being a princess meant that she got the prettiest dresses (which I'm instantly a fan of😍)!

4) Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor was an American-British actress (whose movies I have yet to see) and died March 23rd of 2011. I love her style because of the girly-vintage feel it has. Unlike my first 3 picks Elizabeth Taylor's style is really truly something I don't see these days. Sometimes I wish I was around for when women dressed the way she did, but I was born the year I was born in for a reason. She possessed such stunning feminine style and beauty her entire life (all four of these women did)!

That's it for now! Thank you so much for reading, I hope all of you have lovely days! Until next time...
